MT just keeps getting better! I've been an MovableType (MT) user and designer for some time now (what? a couple of years maybe?). Over that time I've also played with other publishing systems such as WordPress, Drupal and PostNuke. And frankly, I just keep coming back to MT and find that I can do more with it that the other applications just can't keep up with. So, I'm an MT regular.
Over the past few months I've tracked with the SixApart news and announcements with respect to MT 3.2. While I've beta tested in the past, I just couldn't step into that this time around because of work commitments and design projects. But I've been watching...and waiting...
And now MovableType 3.2 is here! Literally, on my site. I just finished installing it (upgrading it, to be more precise). SixApart billed it as the easiest install ever, and while there were certainly streamlined parts of the installation that saved me time and effort, there were also a couple of bugaboos that took me a while to sort out - and they were entirely my fault due to poor attentiveness to instructions and hurrying through the process. So, all in all, I'd have to say SixApart kept their word.
So, I have a new application to get to know. And I'm looking forward to getting intimately acquainted with it.
